January Prayer Service: 1/8, 7pm
We will meet at 7pm tonight, Wednesday January 8th for our monthly church-wide prayer service. Small groups will not meet this week.
Members Update Meeting: postponed
The pastoral search update scheduled for Sunday, January 12th has been postponed. We apologize for raising expectations by scheduling and then postponing this update but we feel that more time is needed for discernment and prayer. The committee hopes to schedule an update for the congregation before the end of the month.
Newcomer’s Lunch: 1/19, after service
If you are new to the church and would like to learn more about who we are and how you can get involved, please join us for a special newcomers’ lunch with Pastor Chin and other church members on January 19th after service. Contact Jackie Bell for more information.
2014 Giving Commitments
Between now and Sunday, January 12, members and regular attenders are asked to complete tithing commitment cards for 2014 (cards in the foyer). The goal is to help us better estimate our 2014 income, and to help provide greater accountability around giving, as the congregation requested this past fall. We will formally collect cards during service on January 12, or you can submit them directly to Kristen Erbelding or Caroline Kenney.
