Prayer

PRAYER BINDS US TOGETHER WITH GOD AND ONE ANOTHER IN COMMUNITY

Prayer at Peace Fellowship

Monthly Prayer Meeting

First Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Peace Fellowship Church office at 1027 45th St NE.

Need Prayer?

During our service, we create a space to share prayer requests and joys with the whole community.

Every church prays. We know that God hears all of our prayers, both spoken and unspoken. But at Peace Fellowship, we view prayer as more than an individual conversation with God. We recognize the power of prayer in community. When we come God to intercede for one another, we are strengthening Christ’s very body in the world and at the same time, walking closer with God together.

Sunday Morning Family Time

Corporate prayer at Peace takes on a couple of different formats. The true lifeblood and center of our worship on Sundays is our family time for the sharing of prayer requests and praises. All are invited to share and to pray together. We have found that this unique aspect of our service helps us all to care for each other, for each member and visitor to our church to be seen and known. Prayer requests are recorded and then sent to members during the week so that we can continue to lift one another in prayer.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Additionally, on the first Wednesday of the month, we gather at 7:30 in our office space to pray for various needs in our neighborhood, our city, and our world. These monthly prayer meetings give us the chance to also pray for concerns brought up on Sundays. Finding ways to pray for and with each other, and at times to just sit in silence before God together, deepens our sense of community and fellowship.

Core Value: Persistent Prayer

We acknowledge the reality of spiritual warfare and affirm the power of God; therefore, in faith, we are zealous to pray, individually and collectively.
