Sunday Morning at 4339 Hunt Pl NE.
We gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 10 AM. We are a friendly and welcoming congregation, so come as you are. We’re not overly formal, so no pressure to dress a particular way. We believe God is present for each of us and wants to meet us wherever we are. We take time each week to share prayer concerns with the community and then take time to pray for them.
Children are welcome to attend Sunday School, which dismisses partway through the service. We have a toddlers class, a pre-school class, and two elementary school classes.
After the service, we serve some light refreshments and have potluck lunch the last Sunday of each month. All are welcome!
Every few months we host a new members class. It meets for four weeks and it is a great way to learn more about our history, values, and mission, and ask questions about who we are. There’s no pressure to join afterward.
We believe that small groups are a vital way for us to grow deeper in relationship with God and each other. Our small groups meet weekly, from September through June. Most groups study a book of the Bible for a semester at a time. Some meet at the church, others in homes of our members. Anyone can join at any point. Check out the schedule on our Small Groups page.
While we value our Sunday morning worship services and our small groups, we know that church is ultimately about taking our love for God into the neighborhood. We’re committed to making disciples who love God and love their neighbors, and we believe that happens through tangible witness and service to the community.
