Zakiya Jackson

  • Zakiya is the VP of Training and Resources at a local non-profit that works in the intersections of faith, race and education equity.
  • Most recently a member of Madison Square Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she oversaw the training of small group leaders and also taught frequently on practically pursuing racial justice.
  • She has been involved in church leadership and community development for 15 years.
  • She was born in Benning Ridge in SE DC, raised in the South (Tennessee and Alabama), currently living in Anacostia.
